Lomography Metropolis
Alright y’all…Another film stock, another video.
Today we’re shooting Lomochrome Metropolis. This is a new(ish) film stock from Lomography that is known for being mostly desaturated and contrasty, but with a little twist…the reds and oranges aren’t affected like the other colors. SO! I asked each model to bring something red and orange so we could take advantage of that pop of color. We went to a couple of Pensacola, FL attractions and shot through a roll to see what we would get. The photos below are of the Pensacola Beach Boardwalk. If you have a chance to visit Pensacola Beach…make sure it’s on your to-do list.
This film has a variable rating of 100-400 ISO. With everything I had read on the web, I went with 200 to get the most neutral results. Besides warming up the images and pulling up the shadows a bit in Lightroom, no major edits were made to the scans.
